Anyway just posting this because of course I watched a bit of the tournament last night and saw lots of roll trap stuff.. but something I think people forget and im sure if they played the game a bit more and got warmed up is.. Although you saw a lot of tap tap tap sweep tap tap tap sweep, then mix up would kill. If you are playing the game and warmed up.. the other guy actually dies just after the first tap tap tap sweep. That coupled with just the obvious shoto priority in this game there obvious regular strengths and the stupid no proximity normals that lets ken harass you while stand mp especially make him very very obnoxious to play against. Because again theres nothing really discourages him from doing what he is doing so to speak. There are other characters like guy, rose, ryu who also can blow you up instantly and win a outright match if the guy ever rolls.. but those characters there is a bit of a guessing game sometimes.. where as akuma and ken there basic idea roll are not is always the same.. again ryu does have unblockable cross up in this game to dizzy but he still has to guess that or roll.. ken and akuma are just like.. fuck you no matter what you do.


For what its worth ken does also kill you off just a single duck lkX2 if the guy roll to fireball roll punish combo. However assuming they dont roll, and you just do a duck lk to something if the guy is ducking the fierce DP combo will not dizzy. Just a added note for sake of argument I suppose.
