Why No One Cares About Your Live Stream Tweet - Twitter Talk
This video is about people tweet their stream, but to no avail, and wonder why their stream tweet doesn't reach their audience or helps their stream at all.
It's okay to do a stream tweet every once in a while, but keep in mind your "going live" stream tweets really interrupt people's consumption of twitter content. Stream tweets are usually the tweets that get the lowest engagement, because no one cares about them. Stream tweets and Instagram pics are pieces of small content, which is usually consumed in large quantities. Stream tweets interrupt the flow of content consumption.
Yes, there are exceptions to this, some people get on Twitter and will gladly go to a link for a live stream. But, those are exceptions, not the rule. Stream tweets aren't always a bad thing either, I still post a stream tweet from time to time. However, I only keep my stream tweets to 1/3 times a week. Don't let no one caring about your stream tweet stop you from tweeting about your stream. It's okay to make a stream tweet every once in a while, but you're not streaming on twitter, so you shouldn't be allowing that the large content on Twitch to interfere with other's Twitter consumption.
If you decide to post a stream tweet, or tweet your stream to Twitter, use a GIF or a clip, and make it stand out. Remember that when you decide to tweet your stream, people need to care about it.
Thanks for watching the newest video, Why No One Cares About Your Stream Tweets.
