Why reading YouTube comments is mostly a waste of time, misinformation and fake users
But i would also be critical to some YouTube channels that may just be propagating autocrat regimes too. But point is YouTube comments is way more harder for some people. So in general i would just not bother relying on them for valid information, rather talk to real humans in general is better idea.
Basically, if some person have to make a fake western name just to win information war... yeah thats a tad bit sad and pathethic but hey its Putler regime of Russia so what do you expect?. At best counter argument is just write "Russian bot" assuming if they arent blocking the comments, but thats my suggestion to an open platform (though this could evolve to other insults depending on country who may do that in the future, but thats the best insult really, just "Insert country name doing it and bot) and they will know its not gonna work due to this.
But as a whole when it comes to politics or information. Talk to real humans, because online comments is less reliable. Wouldnt surprise me if this could happen to other media online places like Facebook etc
Now i guess one thing i wont miss much from reading YouTube comments "Or atleast not often, the hyperaggressive nature of it". But sticking to real people is a treat!
