Why The Developer Direct Is So Important For Avowed
53When Avowed gameplay was first revealed a lot of gamers were caught off guard by the stark contrast and visual style that was presented compared to the original teaser trailer.
Gamers were expecting a much more gritty and visceral fantasy experience akin to Skyrim, but the Avowed gameplay reveal gave the impression of a more cartoonish even childlike tone that did not resonate with a lot of people.
With the January 2024 Xbox Developer Direct happening soon, Avowed has a second chance to win over fans by highlighting some of the improvements that were made since the initial reveal.
Previous rumors had talked about how improvements were going to be made and how the game was only in early alpha at the time This means that now is the opportunity for avowed to truly shine and to show gamers why they should be excited for avowed before it's late 2024 release.
