The ending of Bayonetta 3 sets up an entirely new character to lead the franchise. I'm not going to pretend that I've been a longtime fan of the series but I did really enjoy Bayonetta 3, so the idea that the series is going to move on from its icon in favor of a less proven character, doesn't seem like the best idea. I discuss why here.
