Using DS4Windows or Steam to enable the DualShock or DualSense controllers to work on Windows 10 is great. However, using these programs many notice that PlayStation / DualShock / DualSense button prompts don't appear in the games. But why is that? Did you do something wrong? Or are the programs working? There's nothing wrong that's happening or anything that you did - this is by design. This is all due to how the games are programmed and how the games are implementing the controllers using either Xinput or SIAPI (Steam Input API). In this video we'll explain these are and how they influence games and button prompts.
