Fanboys, shills, and children are getting awfully defensive when you point out that NASCAR 21: Ignition should very well have included the Xfinity and Truck Series, and that Motorsport Games made an odd choice omitting them. They cite absolutely bogus arguments, such as claiming it would derail resources and result in a sub-par game.

In reality, the rFactor engine powering NASCAR 21: Ignition is incredibly modular, and putting a new car in the game is down to simple data entry - which is why all other games on the isiMotor engine, including those by very small dev teams, often feature a huge roster of vehicles. This also explains why each isiMotor sim has a huge modding community surrounding it. The average sim racer very often does "go out and make their own car" because it's just that easy to do so.

Not only would the Trucks/Xfinity cars not impede on development and affect scope in any tangible way, but an argument can be made that inserting new cars into the game is so easy, the game should have shipped with the full roster of feeder series and as many historic cars as they could have gotten the licenses for. Motorsport Games reducing scope to this extent is extremely worrying.
