What’s up guys, DvApps here. Today I'm going to be talking about Why You Should Always Have A Description and good tags. This is going to be episode 2 of my new series called YouTube for Beginners. In this video, I talk about what the description and tags are, the function of the description and tags and how to make a good description so that you can rank higher in search and grow your channel. The description and tags are metadata, which is pretty much information about the video, this tells YouTube what the video is about. The more common tags and keywords you use in your description, higher your video 'should' rank in search, but if you are a small YouTuber, it probably won't be that high because YouTube also looks at the likes/dislikes and views to gauge how good the video is.
