Although, inspired by such movies as "The Godfather" and "Scarface" it features "outside" characters. Those who stand against establishment in the organized crime factions. What comes to mind is the fictional anti-hero Parker with a shade of Robert B. Parker's Spenser. Without any guiding morale compass at once it was groundbreaking, now it is stale, and the "inspired" writings of Donald E. Westlake seem never to have crossed Rockstars mind.
