Widor Toccata.. but with a 32' Bombarde this time!
760You might remember the first video featuring the famous Widor Toccata in Italy.. well.. we've been on another concert trip and I was kindly asked to give it another try - so let's see how the Toccata works this time!
This is the English organ in Gackenbach, Germany which is an absolutely fantastic instrument! I was just preparing for a concert that day and was hearing the organ for the first time as well.. as you might be able to tell, I'm pretty impressed! The reeds and Bombarde 32' in the Pedal as well as the Mixture sound absolutely fantastic! There will be many more (higher quality) recordings of this organ. I can't wait to hear what you think! Oh.. and of course the acoustics of the church are fantastic. Wow!
