Recorded with the camera below the controller. This is the only video gaming "first-person" shooter. If you're using a VR setup with an appropriate game (one made expressly for that VR setup) then yes, that is first-person POV. Disregarding that exception, all other so-called first-person shooters (fill in the blank, they all do it) use keyboard and mouse or game controllers, they have NOTHING to do with shooting. They are all "hyper-uber-ultra-mega" platformers, just like any simple Mario game. Think about this, when would ANY so-called first-person shooter game player use an action cam? Like a Go-Pro or like my Insta360? Wouldn't that be silly? It would be a reel of a gamer playing their shooter with a keyboard and mouse, barely moving except for their left hand moving over the keyboard and a right hand gripping a mouse. From a first-person perspective. This is the MOST hyped area of gaming, from Halo to Battlefield and beyond it's all about the graphic resolution and cinematic cut-scenes and very little to do with immersion. When you watch this video you're watching A PERSON (me) play a game. You're seeing me, my hands, my head movements, my words. When you watch ANY other video you're watching A GAME being played by a person. The use of video recorders has made for very smooth, clear and very high resolution yet boring, robotic and inhuman video. I just described 90% of Twitch.
