A couple of studious youtubers have pulled back the curtain on why the killcams you see are just SO different to what you experienced, and why people seemingly kill you before you can react.

It turns out there's an underlying delay between your perspective and your character's animations (aka, the hitbox). While it's appalling that such a large delay is present in a "twitch shooter", you can actually make the best of the situation, and use it to your advantage!
