Here in this video I will show how is the progress of the development of the homebrew emulator WiiSX, for the Nintendo Wii, and CubeSX, for the Nintendo GameCube (GC/GCN), both based on PCSX, but with new changes from PCSX-df, PCSX-R (PCSX-Reloaded), and PCSX-ReARMed!
The latest addition of this official continuation of the development of the first PlayStation 1 emulator for Wii is... a light dynamic recompiler called Lightrec!!!!!
This new dynarec Lightrec, developed by user pcercuei, aims to have the best possible speed and efficiency at recompiling PS1/PSX/PSone games code to many platforms, including but not limited to x86, x86_64, ARM, PowerPC (PPC), MIPS, Aarch64 and Risc-V, using GNU Lightning as base for these code.
But not just that will have WiiSX/CubeSX, but also will have a new CD-ROM plugin for reading data from PS1 games, CDRISO (taken from PCSX-df), a new sound plugin called DFSound (from PCSX-R / PCSX-Reloaded), GTE changes from PCSX-ReARMed, and many more updates that soon will say goodbye to their old PPC dynarec, to CDRMooby, and FranSPU!
And i'm impressed that with these changes, compatibility on the old but good and still maintained WiiSX/CubeSX has rised!

NOTE: For use this huge update of WiiSX, you will need the BIOS files of the PS1 system (specifically you need the SCPH1001.BIN file that needs to be put at [device_root]:/wiisx/bios/ ).
