Windows 11 Does Not Show Detailed Battery Time Remaining [FIX]

If you are using a Windows laptop and you want to know how long you can continue to use your computer on battery backup, before you have to charge it, you can edit the Registry and make Windows 11/10 show the remaining battery time. You can enable this feature with the help of the Registry Editor as it is disabled by default.

Issues addressed in this tutorial:
windows 10 does not show battery time remaining
windows battery not showing time remaining
windows 10 battery not showing time remaining
windows show battery time remaining
windows show remaining battery time
show battery time remaining windows 10
windows 11 does not show battery time remaining
show battery time remaining windows 11
windows 10 not showing remaining battery time

If you’re running your laptop on battery power, you’re going to want to keep an eye on the time remaining on your battery.

On earlier versions of Windows, you could hover the mouse over the system clock and see the estimated battery time available to you. Unfortunately, this was removed this feature from Windows 11 because Microsoft thought the time being shown wasn’t entirely accurate. The time left if you’re playing a game is different from the time left if you’re using a web browser, for example.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Alienware, Razer, MSI, Huawei , Microsoft Surface, and Samsung.
