I used the most basic of basic hardware to demo the power of windows 8 on a non-touch Device.
We will take a look at the following
System boot
Lock Screen, Log On Screen, Windows Live sign in, Pin sign in, Picture Sign in.
Metro Recovery Options, New system boot (f8) recovery options
Metro UI (startScreen in-depth)
Metro Control Panel
Metro Search, Pin and remove icons
Metro IE10
Metro Task Manger (As well as bring up the old taskmgr)
The Desktop as a Application
New User Explore Interface, Ribbon menus, File management, and File Tools (working with Pictures, and other objects)
Adding Simple program shortcuts to the desktop from all ready installed apps
Working the Control Panel (non Metro)
Working with the NEW FILE BACK UP, Via HDD and network locations
working with the Computer Management for formatting HDD (Tried to show the new file system (progone?) but failed to locate it. (it is there though)
