Windows: Error renaming file or folder

You want to rename or remove a file but Windows is saying that it is currently in use while both you and Task Manager say otherwise. Simply open a command prompt and close explorer, then rename ("ren filename") or remove ("del filename") and restart explorer through either the prompt or Task Manager.
