Protips for you! From yours truly.
First, I show off the Weak Attack. For every Melee class, it's a 1-2-3 combo on ground. However, you are unable to move during this on land.
Next, is the Strong Attack. Must be acquired from a quest at Level 5, but it is more powerful and slower than the Weak Attack. As with the Weak Attack, however, you are unable to move while using it on ground.
Following up comes the Mid-Air Weak Attack. You can move while using it, however you can't 1-2-3 combo whilst airborne. If you land on the ground before the attack is finished, your characters stops all together, thus making this faster.
Next is the Mid-Air Strong Attack. Same deal here, allowing you to move. Same deal with the Weak Attack, and stopping once your character lands. Jump attacks are crucial within the arena.
Then I demonstrate how you can fight monsters one at a time with ground attacks, with air attacks, a couple of Assassin Skills, and a small mob of monsters. Generally you level up faster if you gather up as many enemies as you can, so your skills that damage multiple enemies at once can diminish them all at the same time, thus giving a large burst of Experience.

Well, that's the basics, the rest you'll have to figure out and practice with on your own.
