Backsweetening my first batch. The recipe that I loosely followed was Dragons Blood by Danger Dave. You can find it online fairly easily.

He recommended 3/4 cups sugar per gallon. Having a 6 gallon carboy should have seen me adding 4.5 cups total, but just to be a little safe not wanting to oversweeten, I did 3/4 cups short of that. 3.75 cups.

This isn't meant to be a tutorial or anything. Honestly, I'm only adding this to YouTube to make it easier to add to my website, which does include more detail on my batch, albeit mostly with photos and text, not video.
