Early test of remastering the tiny in-flight comms videos from Wing Commander for the upcoming WCIV: Remastered (https://wcrespace.com).
Yes, this is from WCIII, not WCIV - it's just that the opportunity arose to experiment with a comms video extracted from the 3DO version of WCIII - which shares many similarities with the PlayStation version of WCIV (which we hope to use as the source for our comms videos).
These would never run full screen in-game - only within a section of the Heads-Up Display or on a cockpit monitor. I just upscaled to 4K here to see how far I could potentially push it and take advantage of VP9 encoding on YouTube.
