if xinput doesn't work, use this trick.

Problem : Sometimes the game doesn't detect xinput or dinput .

Solution:

if you started any container then go to "game controller" ( in the start menu), select virtual Gamepad profile and test controls then play the game. otherwise xinput won't be detected.

And you want to run any shortcut directly then select virtual Gamepad in shortcut settings. Follow this video. otherwise xinput won't be detected.
