Winter January Challenge Complete | Subsistence | Hardcore Mode | Episode 40
17Since we've completed the challenge, as I expected, not every area on the map share the same temperature value. Even on the lowest part of the area, they're not providing a "safe spot" easily if any player somehow managed to setup a campfire. Player requires to find this "safe spot" by them self in order to maintain their health points. Cold tolerance, snowstorm duration, global temperature and character facing direction (compass) does gave me a headache sometimes in the first 3 in game days.
Ps. Avoid central pond if you plan to play with hunter enabled. Unless you don't mind a random encounter with their fisherman and possibly trigger a passive "periodic attacks".
