Goofing around a bit with a Nonformer. That is, a model that looks like a transformer but can't transform and also can't be legally be called a Transformer for copyright reasons.

The early draft pictured here is really just a doodle, where I didn't bother cleaning up a lot of stretched or overlapping parts et cetera. I mostly wanted to get a feel for how best to cut up a vehicle model in case I ever want to try and make an actual transforming robot kit (which would be a major project).
I might not even end up releasing the finished version of this model. But I probably will. Someone might find use for is as a custom tabletop unit, with rules that enable it to switch betwen armored car and robot form. Or sumptin´.

Anyway, this guy is Caruso. On Cybertron, he was responsible for making the maglev trains run on time.
