Wipeout Pulse running on the latest version of PPSSPP. I'd uploaded a whole load of Wipeout videos yesterday, where I waxed lyrical in the description about how marvellous the game looked upscaled into HD -- and then realised today that I'd accidentally rendered about 50% of them in low quality SD by mistake. D'oh! Anyway, here they all are, rendered in glorious HD for your perusal...

In this latest version all of the bloom shader effects effects are now working properly, which makes the game look absolutely amazing. I'm seriously blown away by just how great this looks upscaled, the level of detail that's gone into the craft and they tracks is astonishing, especially when you consider this was a game designed for a handheld system. Studio Liverpool really pulled out all the stops to make this one of the best looking games of that generation. Upscaled into HD I'd say it's almost on a par with Wipeout HD Fury on the PS3. Almost... (and in fact it probably looks better than some of the utterly shite, awful, low quality 3rd party rubbish that came out on the PS3 and Xbox 360)

All gameplay here is to demonstrate the emulator running only - I'm very out of practice at Wipeout and aware I'm not playing particularly well, so please don't bother leaving any derogatory comments about my piloting. They'll just get deleted.
