Wish's Alternate Scene: Amaya Destroys the Mirror (Read Description)
295Yeah, believe it or not, we got another deleted scene! Only this time it's from the final film of Wish. This scene is from right near the end of the movie, after Magnifico is defeated. Amaya sees him trapped in the mirror, pleading with her to let him out. Not only does she refuse, but Amaya also BREAKS THE FREAKING MIRROR. She just....straight up kills him, and everyone celebrates. And FYI, this is AFTER she's been changed to be good already. I swear, this felt like more of a plot twist reveal of her betraying her husband. Obviously they had to change it, but JEEZ, how darker can you get!?
It's almost like no matter what these people wrote for Amaya, the evil queen concept seems to be unintentionally part of her, even when she's good. It's like her being evil has been so ingrained into character, its hard not to see her like that...
