It's Wise choice to start Gundam Series with this. Relatively Light Background Setting, Astronaut Fashion and non-Gravity movements look Stylish.

Pretty and Attractive Characters. I can see they tried to Design Characters of Different Personality and Race.
I Especially liked Guel Jeturk's Narrative. He's a Jerk but Full of Pride and Having Pressures on his Shoulder because of his Family and all. I Really Love Characters who's Imperfect.
📝 Plot ★★☆
Prologue - "Maximizing the Tragedy by the Innocence of Baby's eyes."
Interstellar-Like World. Human Outer-Space Colony, Preserving Seeds. Merged with Medieval-Times Customs that resembles "Trial by Combat" in High-Fashion. Like 'The Hunger Games', Entertainment-Politics-Sponsors-Family Backgrounds are Closely Related to the 'Dual' here and Defines 'Power'.
2nd Ep's Battle was dirty though. One-sided Cheatings such as Auto-Pilot and Sprinkler. Well, it was to bring more Tension to the Climax I Guess.
tbh Full of Cliche, even the the Genre itself. However I can see their Attempts such as Futuristic Background, Female Main Characters. Even the Definition of 'Gundam' is Different in each series.

"New Gundam in New Era"
Academy-Daily Life Genre with Battle-Ranking System Elements merged. Battle, but since it's also School Life thing, it can fight against Different Gundam Mobiles with relatively less Pressure of Death and all. Serious, but not too much.
Make me want to see Other Gundamss. Light and Beam Weapon, Psychokinesis, Iron Man Type, 'Gundam Aerial' nice design.
Very Open-minded, Woke? though. Girls Love.. Oppressive Father.. Independent Woman... Even Throw away Tradition of the Series, Male Protagonist. It self its not wrong but, Just hoping that the reason weren't because of Politics.

Clever Marketing method for them to Broadcast whole episodes on Official Youtube Channel. Maybe They are using it for Promoting Toy sales and Enlarging Fan-base. Well, It worked.
I Happened to Remember the Reason Why I watched Japanese Animations and Loved them. Things to Dig into, Imagining "What if this Gundam and this Fight?", "How's this Character Become more Stronger?" etc. It's more Immersive Literature than a book that you can Experience Another World.
