Hi there. Ducky Obrien here and I finished binging the Witcher on Netflix. I liked it so much and I wanted more so here I am, playing the game. The good news is that the stories are roughly similar and Witcher 3 takes place after a few years after the ending of Season 1.

We are left with Geralt having trained Ciri in the home place of Witchers, Kaer Morhen. Ciri and Geralt have gone their separate ways but foreboding dreams leave Geralt troubled and with a sense that Ciri is in danger.

Also, just say no to Gwent. One moment you're on an epic quest, and the next thing you know you've spent 3 hours playing Gwent instead.
