edit: A few more tweaks!
Some settings in the game take insane amount of performance but do not offer anything praticulary eyecatching in the visuals so try to turn settings like foliage, Grass Density, Decals to HIGH instead of ULTRA and Chromatic Abbrevation OFF entirely.
nVidia Hairworks may suit some players so if you want to not have such a huge framerate drop when you turn it on then go to the games catalogue BIN\CONFIG\BASE and there you will find an .ini file called Rendering.ini Open it up and change the HairWorksAALevel=8 to something lower like 4 or even 2! You gain massive amounts of performance and just lose the AntiAliasing a little bit, not entirely :) on HAIR parts.. lol
ALSO the game tends to set itself to Boarderless Window mode after every relaunch of the game, always check if you have it on Fullscreen! :)
