207CORRECTION: The Fantastic Fight Fest stat robes are NEARLY identical to the Unreal gear from the Polaris raid, but they are a slightly different stat template. I was comparing the robes when writing this video and didn't notice the health and resist aren't quite the same. Sorry for any confusion there! I do think they are still at least a pretty close alternative for people who don't want to raid, so that's still a positive.
This month the NEW Fantastic Fight Fest event has officially launched and includes a new event pass and rewards including cosmetic items, gear, treasure cards, jewels, reagents, and even a permanent mount. However, while in theory this event should be a great way for players to earn some cool new stuff, it has already had numerous issues, bugs, and controversies which have put a bit of a damper on the entire thing. Everything from players not scaling correctly, to bosses despawning, loss of event credit, and lack of community participation are all major problems. So today I’ll be reviewing how the event works, all the rewards you can earn, and discussing what needs to be fixed going forward.
