Wizardry 8 finishes up the dark savant saga and brings wizardry to 3d. While the graphics are pretty dated, the game play is still great. Each skill gets built up just by using it and so with planning a death bringing super cheese ball snarky murder party can fight some of the most ridiculous and lengthy fights in all of dungeon crawlers. So grab your fairy ninjas and samurai tigers and kill everything.

Positives:
- huge explorable areas
- diverse classes with lots of character customization
- good music
- amazing items and treasure
- extra party members to recruit for a team of 8.

Negatives
- Each enemy moves by itself independently, takes forever.
- gaining skills by using them means your constantly casting stuff just to level it
- puzzles will drive you insane. Just use a walkthrough
- ridiculous difficulty spike after the monastery (enemies level with you until they cap the areas)
- may take some effort to get to work on modern systems
- resting spawns a zillion enemies.
- 3d direction and party lay out takes a while to get used to.
