I mostly brought the games on Steam, I wasn't able to play most of the games until I managed to save up for a powerful PC so I'm going on a memory trip on gaming nostalgia though speaking of Steam..

There is somewhat a good and bad thing about Imposter steam accounts of well known Let's players such as Markiplier, Pewdiepie, Etc. Because the thing is though: If you want to become a lets player but not constantly harassed by gamers who want to play alongside you or haters who criticizes every small detail about yourself then it's a weird form of gaming privacy protection if you think about it.

The Downside however can be the same applied to Fake Youtube channels. The PewdiePie ones being the most notable example. Because there is an easy way to tell between fakes and the real thing and here are how to know.
1. How they type.
2. The numbers of Subscribers do they have in comparison to the real thing.
3. The personality of the user.
Now you wouldn't really want to give yourself a bad reputation because of your own fanbase. A good fanbase at least knows your personality and tries to know you through the videos and somewhat respectful towards you as a person and a gamer at the same.
