While searching for the "secret level elevator bug" that v1.2 apparently fixed...

... I've managed to find some interesting bugs involving saving and loading at certain points. Footage here is from the v1.2 shareware via DOSBox. (Framerate is fast at parts in this version)

Pushwall stopping: Saving your game while a pushwall is moving and loading that game will stop the pushwall dead in its tracks. You can't re-activate it and it has an interesting way of blocking the player. (If it partially occupies a "grid" space, that entire space will block the player). This wasn't really gamebreaking except on levels where pushwalls were necessary. (Like E2M2) This was fixed in v1.4.

Broken exit: If you save your game the moment you flip the elevator switch and then reload it, the switch will be stuck in the ON texture and you cannot reactivate it, potentially trapping you inside the level. This exists for all versions.

Zombie!: If you save your game at the moment your health drops to 0 (the death animation doesn't play) and reload, you can reload that moment and walk around with 0 health. There are no special properties of this. One shot from the enemy will kill you, grabbing food will give you 25 health. Though, grabbing an extra life would net you 99% health instead of full health. This also exists for all versions.
