Won Monochrome Tactics! - The MidcoreGamer Plays: Super Bullet Break - Part 1 (Gameplay)
Super Bullet Break has an intriguing Wreck it Ralph-like storyline where digitally-sentient bosses from a video game, Bullet Break, went over to other games and started modding the characters there, rending the other games unplayable. The game plays out much like a card-based roguelike, where the cards are your Bullets a.k.a. the anime girls, in this game. There are some interesting and challenging mechanics and effects here though I find not many of them are explained thoroughly enough, adding some measure of guesswork into the decisions you make during battle.
The easiest and probably best way to get to the final boss in this game is to choose a path where you can avoid most battles unless forced to since sometimes, you might just be unlucky and end up with a group of enemies that constantly deal damage, so much so you can't keep up with the shields and armor and had to take significant damage, which would eventually make progression virtually impossible - as in taking a single hit = dead.
The game's brutal and sometimes, wildly unbalanced (the heals is just pitiful), but when everything falls into place and you managed to slay a SingulaLady, it's just so satisfying.
