Woodoku is a puzzle game that combines elements of sudoku and block matching. The goal is to fill the grid with wooden tiles of different shapes and numbers, following the rules of sudoku. Here are some hints, tips and guide for new players who want to improve their skills and enjoy the game.
- Plan ahead. Before placing a tile, look at the grid and see where it can fit. Try to avoid creating gaps or conflicts with the sudoku rules. You can also use the preview feature to see the next three tiles that will appear.
- Use the trash bin. If you have a tile that you can't place anywhere, you can drag it to the trash bin and discard it. However, you can only do this once per round, so use it wisely.
- Complete rows and columns. When you fill a row or column with tiles, it will clear from the grid and give you points. This will also create more space for new tiles and help you avoid getting stuck.
- Complete squares. When you fill a 3x3 square with tiles, it will also clear from the grid and give you bonus points. This will also trigger a special effect that will help you in different ways, depending on the type of square. For example, a fire square will burn some random tiles, a water square will wash away some tiles, and a wind square will shuffle some tiles.
- Use power-ups. When you play the game, you will earn coins that you can use to buy power-ups. Power-ups can help you in various situations, such as removing a tile, swapping two tiles, or shuffling the grid. You can access the power-up menu by tapping the button on the top right corner of the screen.
- Have fun. Woodoku is a relaxing and enjoyable game that will challenge your brain and test your logic. Don't worry too much about making mistakes or losing the game. Just have fun and try to beat your own high score.
