One of the first great text editors for the IBM PC which originated in the CP/M world. Thanks to the similarities between CP/M and DOS, it was easy to port over programs to the new computer, which helped the IBM PC to capture market share in the early days. Interesting that edlin and WordStar are not compatible with each other as it can be seen at the of the video.
