Wordy Qwerty is the follow-up to the classic PC game Read, Write, and Type, published in 2005 by Talking Fingers. After completing Read, Write, and Type, most children can spell anything they can say, but they may not know the complicated English spelling rules. That's where Wordy Qwerty comes in. It teaches rules like Silent E, the sounds of C and G, when to use C or K, and the classic, "I before E except after C".

The game features Qwerty and MIDI. Qwerty makes up games about words in his workshop. Every time the user plays the games, they win spheres for MIDI to use to make music machines in his workshop. The prize for completing the program is a very complex music machine.
