While the Nether Disruptor is active in the Broken Shore, complete the quest "Boon of the Nether Disruptor" to receive an Armorcrafter's Commendation. Note that you will only receive this item if your armorcrafting profession is at skill level 800 at the time of turning in "The Nether Disruptor" (the pre-cursor to "Boon of the Nether Disruptor"). Take your Armorcrafter's Commendation over the Eliezer Hammerbeard on the western side of Deliverance Point and speak to receive the quest "Fashion History and a Philosophy of Style." You will then need to speak with him (many times) until you can choose which Legendary piece of equipment you would like to make. In this case, choose the Sentinel's Eternal Refuge boots. Eliezer Hammerbeard will then offer a quest known as "The Legend of the Elderhide," which sends you to the Wretched Hollow of southwestern Val'sharah, where you'll need to right-click 3 Ancient Wisps found around the area. Turn this quest in to Eliezer Hammerbeard back in Deliverance Point, Broken Shore, to begin 4 more Leatherworking quests. The quest "The Wisp and the Shadow" requires you to defeat the Shade of Xavius (the final boss of Darkheart Thicket) on mythic or Mythic+ difficulty; note that regular and heroic difficulty will not count. He will drop an item known as the Colorless Shroud of Xavius, which you must then use to complete this quest. "The Wisp and the Sea" requires you to complete Mythic or Mythic+ Eye of Azshara, as the Wrath of Azshara (the final boss) will drop the Watterlogged Handmaiden's Gloves. Use this item to complete this quest. For "The WIsp and the Nightmare," you will need to defeat Xavius (the final boss of the Emerald Nightmare raid) on any difficulty, including Looking for Raid difficulty. Simply queue for the Rift of Aln to fight this boss. It will drop Xavius' Torn Spellsash, which you must use to complete this quest. Finally, the quest "Leather of the Ancients" can be completed by looting Ancient Dreadleather Armor off of humanoid enemies found around the Broken Shore. Each Ancient Dreadleather Armor will give you 5-9 Ancient Dreadleather, of which you must collect 100. Humanoids can be found at a number of locations around the Broken Shore. Some examples include the Night Elves of the Crescent Ruins in the northwest, the naga on the Felrage Strand in the northeast, and the murlocs on the Felfin Shoals of southern Broken Shore. Additionally, there are some humanoids that can be found in the Shadowfracture of central Broken Shore. I would advise you to farm humanoid enemies in an area where world quests are not currently active, so as to reduce competition from other players. Once all 4 quests have been completed, return to Eliezer Hammerbeard to turn them in. He will then offer the quest "The Wisp-Touched Elderhide," which will actually award you with the Legendary crafting reagent you seek. Head to Thunder Totem, where you will need to enter Huln Sharptooth's tent on the southern bluff of the city. Head inside and use your quest-provided Legendary Tanner's Kit while standing near the 3 tanning racks in Huln Sharptooth's tent. You will receive a Legendary item known as the Bag of the Wisp-Touched Elderhide, which you must return to Eliezer Hammerbeard. Turn in this quest to receive your Wisp-Touched Elderhide. You will notice that this is not the only Legendary crafting reagent required to make The Sentinel's Eternal Refuge boots. The Nethershard Essence can be purchased from Warmage Kath'leen in Deliverance Point in exchange for 8,000 Nethershards, or can be purchased on the auction house (since they are not Bind On Pickup). You will also need 65 Bloods of Sargeras and 250 Stonehide Leather. You are now ready to craft yourself a nice pair of Item Level 940 Legendary boots!
