WOW BEGINNERS GUIDE | How To Get Started As A New Player In the World of Warcraft

If you are new at the World of Warcraft and need a starting hand at getting a overview over the many elements the game has to offer, then go no further! 🙂 In this video I will try to cover all the things I wish I knew back when I got into WoW for the first time, so you can have a smooth first time experience.
➤ ADDON SOFTWARE
The addon software I use to keep my addons easily updated. Just install it and click the settings button, and then "scan computer for games", or add WoW manually. Then in here you can search for and install addons. 🙂

➤ BEGINNER FRIENDLY ADDONS I USE
Note:
Most addons you install can be changed in-game in your settings. Addon settings can be accessed in-game by going into your menu, and then select "Interface", and then the "AddOns" tab. Other addons may require a chat command, which they will tell you what is under the addons description.
- Deadly Boss Mods (DBM)
Used for giving you on screen information about mechanics inside a dungeon or a raid.
- Bartender4
Allow you to change your spell bars to suit your need, since the default UI is reeeeally bad. (Note that when the Dragonflight expansion comes out, this addon will get added to the default game, so you no longer need it)
- Details! Damage Meter
Shows peoples damage, healing, and more, when you play with other players. Everyone who plays WoW semi-seriously uses this.
- Easy Frames
Changes my player nameplate so it looks prettier than the default one. (Note that when the Dragonflight expansion comes out, the default nameplate design gets changed, and this addon might not be needed)
- GTFO
Alerts you whenever you stand in something bad, that you need to move out of. For example fire or poison on the floor.
- Immersion
Gives you a better looking quest window, whenever you speak to NPCs in the game. Makes it look more "immersive".
- SexyMap
Changes your mini map in the top right corner, to look cooler than the default one. (Note that when the Dragonflight expansion comes out, the default mini map design gets changed, and this addon might not be needed)
- Threat Plates
Changes the default health bar on top of enemies, to GREATY improve how they look, since the default ones are MUCH too simple and non informative. (Note that when the Dragonflight expansion comes out, the default health bars may change, meaning this addon might not be needed)
- WeakAuras
VERY popular addon for giving you information anywhere on screen, to let you know when spells are ready, and other cool information. Note that this addon require a bit of "learning how to use", and may be better to use once you feel ready for that.
