This certainly is a VR horror game. Anyway—to get the good ending, you must have all the collectibles (except the Lost Memories). I hope you wanted to get them *before* the final confrontation with the Broken Woman; all the doors are locked, so if you saved afterward and didn't have everything, you're up a creek. What fun.
