My tribute to Wu Kong, Monkey's older brother who was more popular with girls than him, even stealing his girlfriend and often pranked those who lived in their village. Unlike Monkey who made jokes and played harmless pranks even after he became a Kung Fu master, Wu Kong became a thief, even self-proclaiming himself as the King of Thieves. One day, Monkey caught Wu Kong stealing from their mother while she was sleeping and they got into a fight, waking her up and causing her to have a heart attack at the sight of them fighting. While Monkey stayed with their mother to watch over her, Wu Kong ran off. Before their mother died, she made Monkey promise to keep Wu Kong safe. One day, Wu Kong came to the Valley of Peace and began stealing from the villagers, eventually causing Monkey to get blamed by them for his crimes. Despite this, Monkey tried to keep Wu Kong safe like their mother asked him to, even nerve pinching and fighting Po to keep him from fighting his brother and putting him in prison even if it meant he would be viewed as a criminal by the villagers, Po, Master Shifu and the rest of the Furious Five.
