"In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields."
-John McCrae

This is something that I have never done before, studying and playing video games simultaneously. Did editing this video also count as studying? I don't know. Also, this information is not 100% accurate. If I made a mistake, please correct me in the comments. I'll be sure to make note of it.

Things I forgot to mention
October 12 2025:
The Persons Case. In the year 1929, women we finally considered as "Persons" in Canada. This was a result of the Persons Case or the Edwards v Canada case. Henrietta Edwards, Nellie McClung, Louise McKinney, Emily Murphy, and Irene Parlby had worked together to bring this change in the country. The case was denied in Canada, so the five then appealed to the British court and got their case accepted. From then on, women were allowed to be part of the senate and got into many other jobs that they weren't allowed to keep before.
Sports. I had forgotten to mention the athletic achievements of Canadians such as Tom Longboat and the Edmonton Grads.
Art. Though art was briefly touched on in the video, the main significance was forgotten as well. During the war, Canadian painter Tom Thompson set out into Algonquin Provincial Park to paint on many canvases, inspired by the landscape. This ended up inspiring 7 other painters of the time period and resulted in Canada having its own unique art style. One that was separate from the European art style of the past.
