2K Sports' parent company Take-Two Interactive held their quarterly earnings call for investors yesterday where they addressed WWE 2K22 and noted that the game features "A fresh approach, enhancements and new features".
Alongside this note it was also confirmed that WWE 2K22 is still set for a Fiscal 2022 release, therefore the game looks set to be released anywhere between now and March 31st, 2022.
The investor call also noted that two of 2K's core games which includes WWE 2K22, NBA 2K22, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and a currently unannounced game had been delayed until later in the Fiscal 2022 schedule, however 2K have not confirmed which of the 4 games were delayed.
Additional slides for the earnings report revealed that 2K Sports currently have 3 mid-core sports games in development for fiscal year 2023-2024, therefore there's a chance that one of these games could be a sequel to last years WWE 2K Battlegrounds.
