Thank you so much for enjoying Year 1 of my Simulation Season Mode. I enjoyed doing this when I was younger after the game would get too easy and stale. It's very interesting to see how things play out, and now that I have a capture card and an excel spreadsheet, I can share my outcomes with you and invent my own rankings system because the in game one is a tad flawed.
If you watched my first video, you'll know that every pinfall, submission or direct victory (ladder/cage/table) gets a character one point and I've been ranking superstars every month according to their spots on my excel sheet. I moved from 7 to 9 in each division as the leftovers from the Hardcore Division was too full. This allows wrestlers to hold smaller titles while defending and catching up with the rest. Examples like Crash Holly, Essa Rios, Viscera and Kurt Angle moving up to the WWF Title while defending their lower card titles. The only flaw I've seen thus far is Triple H being absolutely untouchable right now. As of writing this, he is +23 with the closest runner up being Edge at +12.
It does a great job as separating those with winning streaks from those who are wavering in the ranks and end up in the European/Hardcore Division. I'm excited to see what Year 2 has in store and I plan on introducing new teams like The Alliance, Team ECK, The Right to Nudity and the Two Man Power Trip into the mix. Keep me posted on your favorite Stables as when we get far enough into the Season, all the stables I can make in game will be defunct, so I plan to go back to the originals with a few of your favorites mixed in.
Cheers and I hope you enjoy Year 2 of Season Mode
