Xbox Ambassadors is a Joke (Rant). I was on my Xbox dashboard after finishing a game and noticed a little notification attempt made by Xbox Official on the Xbox console. It was a reminder, telling the Xbox community to become an Xbox Ambassador. The post had more than 5000 comments from the Xbox community. Some people were curious about the Xbox Ambassadors Program, some people argued with each other, and some people straight up roasted Xbox Official's artwork for the Xbox Ambassadors Program. I'm not saying I can make better artwork but I can make it less laughable.

I don't recommend becoming an Xbox Ambassador as I noticed it's sort of a trap. I quit the Xbox Ambassador Program but Xbox made no effort to actually remove me from the program. My Xbox account still has the green badge and every time I try to sign in to my Xbox Ambassadors account, the page does not load up, preventing me from quitting. Other accounts that can be used to join the Xbox Ambassadors as the pages load fine. But the Xbox Ambassador member account does not load. It's almost as if Xbox does not want me to quit the Xbox Ambassadors Program. Why is that? So I can work for free? How slick.

I quit the Xbox Ambassadors Program in January 2023. I made a video about it as well, showing me quitting:

But three weeks later, my Xbox account is still part of the Xbox Ambassadors Program. Almost as if I never quit. But I did everything Xbox wanted to ensure I'm no longer an Xbox Ambassador. It's been longer than a week, meaning my Xbox account should no longer be associated with the Xbox Ambassadors. Which simply leads me to believe that becoming an Xbox Ambassador was a dumb decision. Xbox wants us to be Xbox Ambassadors and won't let us quit. That's such a smart move even by Xbox's standards.

The Xbox Ambassadors Program is a joke. I don't want to be associated with this program. Xbox was proudly stating that Xbox Ambassadors are these "Xbox fans" that help the Xbox Community and represent what Xbox is truly about. Xbox makes you sign the Xbox Ambassadors Pledge and makes sure your Xbox account has no prior Xbox Enforcement actions or Xbox Enforcement history. But the hilarious problem is that the Xbox Ambassadors Program has Xbox scammers in it, Xbox cheaters, etc. It totally shows how much effort Xbox put into the "background screening" process, still allowing these types of people to join. I don't want to be associated with a program that allows these types of people to join. So I'll continue making efforts to quit the Xbox Ambassadfors Program and NEVER join again, and you shouldn't either.
