I've been hearing rumors that Xbox is dying out in retail store locations. But it has never been this bad. Is this what supporting a subscription service like gamepass does to video games? or is Microsoft truly choosing to phase out all physical media? I honestly can't say. but I would hate to see this happened to PlayStation and Nintendo. if you care about video games, game ownership, game preservation, digital preservation, and physical game media. then I encourage you to vote with your wallets. stop supporting subscription services and digital storefronts on consoles. buy physical games while you still have the means to do so. because when there's no longer an option to do that. you'll be wishing there was a rewind button.
