After recording PGR I thought it would be a good idea to go straight to PGR2 as the controls and style would be quite similar between them. However that wasn't the case at all. In the original PGR the controls were far more arcadey and you were expected to slide quite often, while in PGR2 the car handling varies between each car greatly and you're more expected to slow down and take corners normally with very little in the use of the hanbrake.
As driving games are pretty samey and long, I only went though the American muscle series. By this point in the career mode you have had a taste of the major cities in the game. I finish by showing the geometry wars mini game which I used to be quite good at, but now achieve a very low score.
PGR2 and 1 were both games I played very often but take a lot of time to master. For the video I try and keep it on the gold medal setting as going any higher would taken a very long time for me to do. The cone mode in 2 i prefer greatly over 1, and the AI has gotten a lot less aggressive but not completely boring. This game overall was a great improvement over the first game and online was fun. -
