After the closure of several studios and cost-cutting measure have been implemented the unfortunate Xbox news today is that more layoffs and cost-cutting is to come. That's per Jason Schrier over at Bloomberg who is saying that Matt Botty and other leaders at Xbox made comments at a meeting that seem to indicate tough times ahead. Tom Warren at the Verge is also reporting that Xbox wants smaller games with prestige and awards days after shuttering Tango Gameworks who made Hi Fi Rush. More Xbox Layoffs. More of a AAA focus. Fewer Risks. That's that it seems like the Xbox strategy will be. Along with a potential Xbox Game Pass price increase.
