XC2 - Chain Attack damage and the effect of Fusion Combos
Edit: Apparently I forgot about Rex's Ultimate Relay skill which increases starting chain ratio by +50%. The topple and launch values are inflated because of this. Supposed to be Topple = 25% and Launch = 50%.
Fusion Combo effects:
2 Stage: Damage +50%, Effect time +10%, Party Gauge +10, Exp gained +40%
3 Stage: Damage +50%, Effect time +10%, Party Gauge +10, Exp gained +50%
4 Stage: Damage +75%, Effect time +20%, Party Gauge +15, Exp gained +60%
5 Stage: Damage +75%, Effect time +20%, Party Gauge +15, Exp gained +70%
6 Stage: Damage +100%, Effect time +30%, Party Gauge +20, Exp gained +80%
7 Stage: Damage +100%, Effect time +30%, Party Gauge +20, Exp gained +100%
Certain Fusion Combos can massively increase damage output. Using a Blade Combo (elements) during a Driver Combo (Break, Topple, Launch) will increase all damage dealt for the remaining time of the Driver Combo effect. The reverse order of using Break, Topple, or Launch during an elemental effect does not provide an extra Fusion Combo damage boost and only extends the duration of the element effect, though topple and launch still have their normal damage increase.
Optimal damage build was not used in this video. It is just a test of the Fusion Combo effects, and has the accessories Omega Drive and Sigma Drive equipped to speed up party gauge gained.
