XCOM 2 | Review
XCOM 2 is a fun strategy game, but not much more. While I truly love playing the game, there’s a lot here that gets in the way of my enjoyment. The vanilla storyline, the obtrusive cutscenes, the uninspired visual design, and the constant, dogged performance issues leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth.
While you don’t need a constant 60 FPS to enjoy the slow-paced strategy of this title, the stuttering, seemingly unstable mess leaves me unable to whole-heartedly recommend XCOM 2. It pains me to say that, because the game is amazingly fun and a marked improvement over the original.
