Firaxis and 2K Games have announced a new turn-based strategy for XCOM: Chimera Squad, continuing the main series. The plot will unfold in City-31, where people and aliens safely exist. But not all inhabitants of the Earth approve of this alignment. Chimera squad is an assault squad consisting of people and aliens who keep order in the city.



Some gameplay details:
- 11 agents with a prescribed background and character
- Character classes with the ability to combine skills
- Missions from a series of battles with an automatic move order system
- Arrangement of characters before the battle. There are entry points on locations where agents with special abilities can penetrate
- Leveling characters and the development of base operations
- Battles in urban environments



The release will take place on April 24 on PC on Steam.
