XCOM Enemy Unknown Let's Play! Episode 01
0I was poking around on Steam and found out XCOM 2 is coming out next spring! In celebration, I decided to dust off Enemy Unknown and do a playthrough. I will be cutting out the loading screen inside the Skyranger, as they are incredibly long for no apparent reason.
My copy of Enemy Unknown is a DVD based physical version where I copy-pasted the install files off an old hard drive because I couldn't find my CD Key. For some reason, the copy-paste gave me access to the first 1-1/2 missions of the Longshot DLC. The game crashes my computer when I attempt to place the last beacon in the train mission.
EDIT NOVEMBER 25: The Enemy Unknown Complete Pack was on sale on steam for $10 so I bought a steam copy of the game, since I got Enemy Within and the DLC so cheap with it. It eliminated the loading issues and I am deciding whether to just restart with an Enemy Within playthrough and not have to mess with the YouTube Video Editor for the Skyranger scenes.
